The following position is vacant for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year:
SCHOOL: Hanover-Horton Middle/High School
POSITION: Building Substitute/Aide
6.5 hours per day paid time
Work hours: 7:30 am – 2:20 pm, Monday-Friday
The primary focus of this position will be substitute teaching, but will also entail other aide duties as assigned when a substitute teacher is not necessary on a particular day
Other conditions of employment:
• Applicant must be a certified substitute teacher in the State of Michigan
• Ability to work with regular duties assigned on a daily basis
• Ability to work with students in grades 6-12 in all subject areas
• Applicant will assist with classroom duties as assigned by the lead instructor
• Ability to effectively manage large groups of students during meal times
• Strong attendance
• Good teamwork skills
• Effective communicator
• Ability to be flexible with duties assigned daily
• Maintain confidentiality
• Fingerprints and background check will be required as a condition of employment
